About me
I am a person-centred therapist offering compassionate, empathic and non-judgemental therapy for those experiencing a difficult period in their life. I provide an individual approach to ensure the therapy is best suited for your needs.
My aim is to provide a warm, welcoming and safe environment for clients, helping to gain understanding and clarity around a situation and difficulties, and to find a way forward. The relationship between myself and my client is an integral part, together we will build a trust, confidence and support which will in turn enable us to work together and through our sessions you will grow to become the best version of you, to enable you to move forward in your own best interest and continue your life’s journey.
Whether you have tried counselling before or you may be considering it for the first time, I feel that the initial session will help us ascertain whether our working together is right for you. This initial 20 minute session will be free of charge and would be exploratory so that we can decide on whether to enter into a period of counselling. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, providing long- or short-term counselling.
I also provide low cost counselling for students undergoing counselling training.
