About me

I'm warm and compassionate, passionate about my therapeutic work.  I specialise in working with people who have experienced abuse, neglect, trauma, bullying or absent parental figures.  I will support you to experiment with new ways of relating (with yourself and others), in the "here and now" within a safe environment.

First Contact

To discuss your situation and your desired outcomes of therapy, please call me for a brief chat on 07824 924 816.  Once we've chatted, you may well want to book an initial consultation.  In this first session, I will take a brief social/medical/familiy history for contextual and risk assessment purposes as well as establishing whether my style of therapy is best suited to your needs.  I will then invite you to tell me about what brings you to therapy with a view to agreeing how we will work together.  I will explain the contractual arrangments, a brief outline of confidentiality boundaries and the practicalities of therapy.

Fees

I offer a sliding scale of rates depending on the location/time slot for therapy and your personal circumstances.

In Pimlico: between £70 to £90.

In TW3: between £60 to £80.

UK Council for Psychotherapy

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accessibility

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
