About me

If you are here, you might be struggling with issues like depression, stress, anxiety, abuse, loss. I understand how difficult it can be to try and go through your day holding onto feelings of fear, despair, worry and constantly thinking that you are not enough.I offer a warm, safe and compassionate approach, working with a wide range of techniques and professional experience to help you find effective strategies to move forward. It is my personal belief that spending time with an empathic, non-judgemental therapist, offers you the opportunity to feel truly seen and heard, perhaps for the first time, gaining insight into the matters that brought you here.

Our uniqueness and individuality are attributes I value- and believe that we each have an innate capacity for healing and growth. I work with young people and adults and offer both short-term and open-ended work, online-via video platforms, instant chat or email, by telephone and in person.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have undergone further training to provide therapeutic support for adult survivors of childhood abuse, as well as anxiety, and mindfulness and can work online via Email, Instant chat, Zoom and Telephone. My work includes supporting children, young people and adults. I have experience of providing short term-solution focused counselling-within the NHS- as well as working with young people for a wide range of mental health matters. I am able to work multilingualy-providing therapy in English, Romanian and Spanish.

I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and National Counselling Society registered counsellor and fully abide by the professional guidelines set out in their Ethical Frameworks. I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional-providing support through a mixture of neuroscience, grounding techniques and psychoeducation.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
