I enjoy working with people to help them become who they really are. I offer a warm, safe, non-judgmental and confidential space to look at any issues that you might be having and work with you to find the outcome that is right for you.
I am a relational integrative therapist. Being relational means I am engaged and interactive. I believe that our relationship is an important part of our work. Integrative means that I understand and draw upon a wide range of psychological approaches. I tailor my approach to the needs of every unique individual.
The sessions usually are once per week on the same day and time. I offer therapy sessions face to face, online, or over the phone.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have completed a 6 years Diploma at the postgraduate level from the Minster Centre in London, a prestigious provider of in-depth integrative therapy training.
I am committed to continuously developing my personal and professional integration with supervision, reflective practice, and regular Continual Professional Development (CPD).
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
I offer an initial session for £60.00.
If we decide to work together ongoing therapy is from £75.00 face to face and £65 online. A therapeutic hour is classed as a 50 minutes session.
Please do not hesitate to email or call me if you would like to know more or ask any questions.
We could book an initial consultation session where we discuss your current needs, concerns, background, and history. There is no obligation to continue after this as I recognize that it is fundamental to feel we can work well together.
