I am a fully qualified psychodynamic counsellor/therapist offering individual therapy to adults. I am able to offer quick access to time-limited or long-term, open-ended counselling.
Counselling may be an effective way of offering you the space to think about, explore and talk about issues that may be concerning you or affecting the quality of your life. This is offered in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.
Psychodynamic Counselling focuses on helping you gain a deeper understanding of your feelings, experiences and behaviour, also how your past may have had an emotional impact on your development and may still affect your present day life. past and present. You might be experiencing relationship or work problems, struggling with feelings of anger, anxiousness or grief or have suffered trauma or abuse. Sharing feelings, thoughts and fears can not only ease mental pain but also bring fresh insight, helping you to understand and make sense of things that may feel confusing. This can facilitate change and help you move forward in your life, particularly if you are feeling stuck.
I understand that starting therapy can be daunting. Your initial consultation can give you a chance to ask any questions and to find out what psychodynamic therapy can offer you.
