Howard Davis MBACP (Accred). Wild Mind Counselling
Borough House Rooms
78-80 Borough High Street
I am an experienced mindfulness-based gestalt counsellor offering quality, affordable, indoor face-to-face counselling in Borough High Street (SE1) and outdoor, contemplative Walk 'n Talk therapy in various tree-filled park spaces and woodlands within London including Hampstead Heath (NW5) and Dulwich & Sydenham Woods (SE26).
My indoor counselling practice is held in a naturally bright, contemporary suite of counselling rooms at Borough House on Borough High Street very close to London Bridge.
Walk ‘n Talk Therapy
I have a passion for taking therapy outdoors into the restorative natural spaces that are available in London including Dulwich and Sydenham Woods (SE26), Hampstead Heath (NW5), Greenwich Park (SE10), Peckham Rye Park (SE22) and Brockwell Park (SE24).
Recently recognised by the World Economic Forum, spending time in natural surroundings, most specifically, as shown in the Japanese practice of forest bathing, around trees, can bring about improved levels of health and well-being.
I have worked outdoors with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, lack of direction, low confidence, a sense of life being overwhelming, panic attacks and unrelenting stress and I have witnessed numerous successful outcomes. I have come to trust the many therapeutic benefits that are available working outdoors in natural surroundings. Clients have additionally expressed their appreciation in having an alternative to sitting face-to-face in a therapy room.
I suggest having an initial discounted introductory session where we can discuss how we might work together. You can then decide if you would like to continue but with no obligation to do so. Please click on the link to my website for further details of my approach and bio.
