WHERE ARE WE?
Hope Counselling and Support is located in the village of Cockerton in Darlington. Situated close to the town centre and the A1 motorway it offers convenient access via all forms of transport including local bus routes. Free car parking is readily available within a few metres of the premises allowing clients to plan their journey to and from sessions without the added stress of parking restrictions.
WHATS THE VENUE LIKE?
Inside the building clients can expect to find a warm, welcoming and helpful service with wheelchair access and stair lift in place to help those who find stairs daunting or outright impossible. Here at 'Hope' we believe in equal opportunities and strive to provide a counselling service that upholds the right of individuals to access Psychological Therapy's. The counselling room is located on the first floor with a comfortable waiting area for friends and relatives, whilst downstairs there is space to store pushbikes, prams and wheelchairs etc. We also believe in the power of a nice 'cuppa' too and free refreshments are available for all clients and waiting companions.
WHO ARE WE?
Hope Counselling and support is a family run practice with both male and female counsellors (please see individual profiles for more information). We offer Counselling support in a wide range of areas and believe in the benefits that talking therapies can bring to a persons current situation and a hope for the future. We offer a free, no obligation assessment which will help you decide if we are right for you and in the event that we cannot offer a service for your needs we will endeavour to point you in the right direction whilst giving you some free Psychological educative materials to take away with you.
