About me
I am an experienced Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol) and a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Within my practice, I offer confidential counselling and psychotherapy to individual adults, adolescents, children from aged 5, couples and families, who display a variety of presentations and levels of severity. These services are available within Falkirk, Stirling and Glasgow city centre.
Support from a psychologist can be helpful for anyone, in any situation, or of any background. In life, you may find yourself struggling to cope with or process your current experience. This may involve feeling helpless, hopeless, confused, stuck and frustrated either personally or professionally. It is ok, not to be ok. However, you deserve to be heard. By engaging in talking therapy, we can relieve the difficult emotions and support you in rebuilding your life... to help you become the best possible version of yourself.
As a Counselling Psychologist, I work in a collaborative way with each client and endeavours to tailor the approach to suit the needs of each individual in support of their goals.
I offer a variety of short-term and longer-term evidenced-based approaches including person centred therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, acceptance, and commitment therapy, and compassion focused therapy. As a counselling psychologist, my knowledge and skills facilitate thorough and empowering assessments, formulations and treatment plans, whilst striving to help the client realise their full capabilities and potential.
At present, I offer psychological support in Stirling:

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
