About me

Counselling during COVID-19

In a time of such uncertainty it feels like mental health is more important than ever. Which it is why counselling can be more important than ever and more needed than ever. While I am unable to offer face to face sessions during this time - I am still available for sessions online or via phone. I am a qualified online counsellor and able to work via video call, audio only call, instant message or email. I am also still accepting new clients during this time.

            ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in the Leeds and Bradford area.

Trained in the Counselling field for over 7 years, although trained in the Relational model of working, I work in a way that puts you at the centre of the work.

I want to be able to provide you with a safe space to help work through whatever it is you feel stuck with.

I have a background and experience of working with both male and female clients with a range of issues from depression to relationship issues, but also specialising in working with anger and emotional management.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.
