Are you experiencing difficulties individually or as a couple which you feel unable to work through personally?
Counselling offers a confidential setting in which to bring any difficulties you face.
I am an Integrative Counsellor working from both the outskirts and centre of Colchester Essex. I offer an empathic, non-judgemental approach and am passionate about the counselling process. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to bring about empowerment and change and will work with you to facilitate this.
Counselling has inspired me to reflect on my own life and to help others do the same and I believe the change brought about from therapy can be profoundly life changing.
I work with men, women, children over the age of 12, couples and have experience of working with a range of issues including:
Anxiety, depression, affairs, separation and divorce, phobias, family issues, panic attacks, GAD, sex issues, psychosis, dissociation, abortion, OCD, PTSD, anger management, sexuality, self esteem issues, unresolved childhood, relationship and marriage difficulties, family issues, spirituality, personality disorder, suicidal thoughts, physical and sexual abuse, bereavement and loss, stress, self harm, trauma and bullying.
I have a particular interest in mental health and relationship issues and adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework.
Working as an Integrative counsellor I use my humanistic core to build a strong base of trust in the relationship then draw on ideas from other approaches depending on what best suits the individual's needs. I enjoy working existentially, looking at the meaning we each give to our lives and psychodynamically, linking past events and exploring their effect on the present.
I offer face to face, online, telephone and walk and talk therapy depending on the client's needs.
