About me
I have 16 years experience in the Psychotherapy field working with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties. I see both Individuals and Couples experiencing Relationship and Sexual difficulties.
Over the years I have seen the often-devastating impact emotional and mental health difficulties can have on intimate relationships and a couple’s sex life. This has led me to undertake Specialist, advanced training in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy (COSRT Accredited), at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships in London. I currently have availability for couples and individuals experiencing Sexual and Relationship difficulties at a reduced-fee.
Issues which may be affecting you as a man include erection difficulties; premature or delayed ejaculation, performance anxiety, concerns around sexual compulsion, and difficulties with desire.
Issues affecting women include difficulties with desire, arousal and/or orgasm; sexual pain (dyspareunia); vaginismus; menopause, and pregnancy-related issues.
A background of trauma may also be having an impact on the current problems.
If you would like to go ahead, we will spend several sessions gaining a thorough understanding of the factors contributing to the issues you bring. We will also seek to understand any underlying relationship difficulties which may need addressing. Treatment options can then be explored. It is possible to work individually, although often helpful and fruitful if your partner can attend as well.
What I Offer:
- 16 years’ experience working Psychotherapeutically. Study and experience of a wide range of Therapeutic Approaches, both short and long-term.
- Interventions tailored to your specific challenges and needs.
- A warm, welcoming space of acceptance to explore and address sexual and intimacy difficulties.
- After a piece of work, which may be either short or longer term, clients often report improved and deeper intimacy and communication; and a sense of healing from past wounds which may have been impacting the quality of connection with their partner.
- I value and promote Inclusive Practice - welcoming those from LGBTQA communities, as well as those practicing consensual non-monogamy, or who may be exploring what sexuality means to them.
- I use a collaborative approach, with interventions grounded in a solid evidence base.
- Face-to-face and remote sessions are available, or a combination of the two to suit your needs.
If you would like to get in contact to set up an Initial Consultation to explore the possibility of working together – I can be contacted by email.
After initial contact is made – we will have a brief telephone call in which I will ask you to outline your reason for seeking help. We can then look to find a suitable appointment time.
I am registered with the major Private Healthcare Companies, including BUPA, AXA, Vitality and Aviva.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
