About me

Hello, I’m Hollie, an experienced and BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, and I understand that sometimes life can be tough, especially when things happen that we can't control. At times we can find ourselves in unhappy situations and patterns, acting in ways we don’t like, or struggling to maintain relationships that are important to us, and it can be hard to know what to do. It can be difficult to identify why we are feeling the way we are or understand what it is that we are feeling.

Whatever it might be that is going on for you, I aim to provide a calm, compassionate and confidential space where we can talk freely through whatever’s on your mind.

Together we can explore these problems, understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, as well as reflect on your life. Working together, I aim to help you identify feelings and where they come from. When we can understand ourselves better, we can grow and create more freedom to be able to make choices about our lives that can ultimately empower us and enrich our lives.

Based in Petersfield, Hampshire, I am experienced in providing both short and long-term therapy, working with adults and young people 16+ both over Zoom and in person. I have experience in supporting clients with a range of challenges, some, but not limited to:

  • Relationship and family issues
  • Friendship issues and exam stress
  • Self-harm
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Identity concerns
  • Personal development

If you would like to know more about me, please do reach out and send me an email. I offer a 15-minute phone call or Zoom, free of charge. This provides you with an opportunity to see if I'm the right fit for you, and for me to answer any questions you may have. If you’re a little curious and would like to explore if therapy might be for you, I encourage you to reach out and get in touch.

Additional information

I currently offer online zoom sessions. Each therapy session is 50 minutes and fees are £55 per session.

To help you decide whether this is the right step for you, I offer a free 15-minute initial meeting online via zoom or telephone.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
