About me

Hello and welcome to my profile.

I am a BACP Registered, Relational Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

You may be at a stage in life where you find yourself struggling to make a decision, unsure about life following the pandemic or even held back by issues from your past.

It can be isolating when attempting to manage difficult thoughts and emotions, especially when you cannot discuss them with your friends and family.

My therapeutic practice will support you to gain an insight into your sense of self. I can help you learn new coping mechanisms to facilitate your inner potential, at your own pace, for positive development. I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment where you will feel heard and understood.

I have worked with a range of issues in supporting individuals with mild to moderate mental health concerns. More specifically, my speciality is in working with female victims and survivors of domestic abuse. I have significant and in-depth understanding of how these issues can impact an individual’s mental health and identity. I work collaboratively and authentically with clients to identify patterns, recognise triggers, establishing healthy boundaries and empowering them to take back power and control of their own lives.

Premises

I provide sessions via Zoom and telephone due to the current pandemic.

Once it is safe to do so, I will return to providing face-to-face sessions from a therapy room within my home. It is a calm and relaxing environment where you can explore your emotions.

My private practice in Bradford, provides a safe space for individuals to explore any issues or difficulties they may be experiencing. It is located in easily accessible area with adjacent parking and toilet facilities.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
