Hilary Rock-Gormley MA FNCS FCIEA
Are you suffering from anxiety or depression? Do you have issues with anger management, or bereavement? Do you have a history of abuse or neglect? Coping with the pace of life in the modern world can be challenging and stressful, and often people believe that they ought to be able to cope, when in fact they are struggling. This can put pressure on couples and families as well as individuals. Many people find it difficult to approach a counsellor, but most people who do come forward for counselling find they benefit from the experience.
I am an integrated therapist, with many years' experience; the 'integrated' label means that I can work in different ways, depending on the problem.
An initial, introductory session is free, and there will be no pressure to continue if you don't feel that it is right for you.
My teaching and examining experience means I am able to offer help for students who are struggling with counselling assignments, or other aspects of experiential learning, and I also offer supervision.
Training, qualifications & experience
I gained my Diploma in Counselling in 1997 and have been in private practice since then.
I was awarded my MA in 2006.
I worked as both a tutor and an examiner in counselling for several years.

Supervision & training
I have been offering supervision for counsellors, both trainee and qualified, for several years, and believe that my experience in both training and counseeling can help. In my own practice I am an integrated therapist, but have trained people in, and can work with, different approaches.View supervision profile
