About me

Hi there, I'm Hiba, a registered therapist (MBACP) who holds dear the core values of BACP. I am an integrative counsellor and I'm all about tailoring a mix of methods to enhance your personal growth as we navigate life's ups and downs together. I understand that facing challenges head-on can be tough, which is why I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings gently.

In my journey within the Further Education sector, I've had the privilege of connecting deeply with clients of all ages, from young ones to adults. This experience has given me valuable insight into the unique hurdles they face, especially in college settings. By building strong relationships and truly listening to each individual's needs, I've been able to shape my therapy around their personal path.

I'm committed to creating an inclusive space that welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds with open arms. Empathy and cultural sensitivity are at the core of my practice, ensuring that every voice is heard and every experience is valued throughout our journey together.

Specialising in aiding young adults, particularly Generation Z, in managing the pressures of social media and peers, I also have expertise in supporting neurodivergent clients, those with special needs, and individuals who have survived sexual abuse. Whatever challenges you're facing, I'm here to provide tailored support aligned with your specific needs.

If you're feeling ready to take that first step, go ahead and schedule our initial session. And remember, if you have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to reach out. Looking forward to accompanying you on this journey. Warm regards, Hiba.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
