Set in Welwyn Garden City and Hoddesdon we are proud to offer counselling for a range of conditions for adults, children and couples.
We support individual adults through past and present traumas, history of abuse, anger, stress, PTSD, anger, self harm, depression, anxiety, panic disorders and phobias, suicidal thoughts, relationship problems. low self confidence, pregnancy and birth, Pre and Post Natal Depression, unwanted habits and addictions, parenting, bereavement.
We support couples through any issues that arise within your relationship - these may be separation/divorce, affairs or betrayals.
We support children with parental consent (those under 16 years old) through anger, low self esteem, learning difficulties, ASD, Asperger's, Autism, bereavement, support with social skills. We use both individual and group therapy to support children, and can support you as a parent also.
We support Teenagers though individual and group sessions with eating, body image, anger, anxiety.
We support parents throughout pregnancy, the post natal period and beyond. We offer individual support through counselling sessions, as well as group support both on and off line in areas such as Post Natal Depression, Sleep, Eating, Managing behaviour
Training, qualifications & experience
Hertfordshire Therapy Centre was founded by Psychotherapist and Counsellor Rebecca Fox in 2011.
Our team has grown over the years responding to he needs of our community and we have recently opened a 2nd centre in Hoddesdon, working alongside The Carter and George Practice.
Our counselling team consists of experienced therapists from a variety of backgrounds working collaboratively to provide our clients with the best possible support.
We work alongside Herts SARC offering counselling for men and women over the age of 13 who have experienced sexual trauma and have recently been asked by the NHS to run a county wide pilot project in this area.
