About me

There will be times for all of us where we require additional help and support. You are not alone - counselling can provide that safe, non-judgemental place where you can begin to explore and understand the issues that you are finding challenging, upsetting or confusing. I offer a friendly, professional service which can help you to make sense of how you are feeling.

You may be finding there are problems within your relationship, an event may have happened which you are struggling to process, you may be feeling depressed or anxious or you may find that you are struggling to connect with other people. I have a wide range of experience working with a variety of issues and I am always happy to receive enquiries from new clients. I recognise the courage it takes to contact a therapist so please feel free to contact me in whichever way you feel most comfortable. This could be a call, text or email.

I value each and every client and recognise that we are all unique, with our own set of circumstances which have shaped our lives. My practice is underpinned by the person centred style of counselling and I work in an empathic, non-judgemental way allowing you to explore your experiences in order to process and understand them. The sessions will progress at your own pace and I will work with you in a way which allows you to feel in control of the direction and the content of the sessions. I strongly believe that everyone has the power to grow and develop, I am here to help facilitate that and to help you to make positive changes.

I work with both individual clients and couples and work with a wide variety of issues.

Making Contact:

I am happy to receive calls about my services and there will be no pressure for you to book a session. We can have an informal chat so that you can decide whether you would like to make an appointment.

As with all counselling the relationship between counsellor and client is important. With this in mind I offer a reduced price initial session which allows us to meet and establish whether we will be a good theraputic match for you on your journey. This session is given at half price.

After our initial session if you decide to go ahead and begin counselling with me then the sessions will be held weekly at a time and date which is suitable for us both.
