About me
Hi, I am Helen.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I appreciate how overwhelming it can be to find a counsellor.
I am a skilled Counsellor with over 15 years of experience in providing emotional wellbeing support and therapy for people of all ages, face-to-face and online. Registered with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
During times of difficulty, such as feeling unhappy, down, frustrated, fearful, or anxious, it can be beneficial to seek assistance from a neutral party. This is where I can provide support. By working together, we can address both current and past issues and develop effective coping strategies to navigate through both familiar and unfamiliar challenges, without fear of judgment in a confidential setting.

How I work
Each individual's response to their circumstances is unique. I work in an integrative way, which means I cater the sessions to the individual needs of the client. I have many years experience of providing emotional support to adults and young people in a variety of roles, in a variety of settings both face-to-face or online - it is important we find the right way for you.
My background has been working with young people (age 11-18) and have continued in later years counselling within High Schools and Universities with adults alongside growing my private practice.
I have a patient, calm and warm manner and I always show my natural, kind and caring nature to make certain you feel heard. Creating a caring and supportive rapport and environment to ensure a feeling of safety.
