About me

Hello, my name is Helen and I am a fully qualified UKCP registered psychotherapist  (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). I provide  psychotherapy to adults over eighteen in the Wells, Glastonbury, Somerset area. I work face to face and online.

I am an experienced psychotherapist who works at depth, this makes it possible to address the beliefs and emotions which are guiding your life.

I have been working as a psychotherapist for over ten years. I trained for 7 years at the Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling, a leading teaching institution.

My background experience includes working as a counsellor at the University of the West of England, supporting the activity team at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and working in other health and educational settings.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
