About me

Hi, my name is Helen - I am a qualified counsellor and I work with adult clients.

As we begin to slowly emerge from lockdown, the world may feel like a different place. Perhaps all this is making you feel anxious, uncertain or overwhelmed. Maybe you have lost a sense of who you are and feel you need to find a new direction in your life.

I offer you a unique space in which to feel heard - all of your feelings are welcome. We will go at your pace in exploring whatever difficulties and feelings you are experiencing.

I integrate mindfulness into my work - and I can help you implement techniques and strategies to help manage anxiety and panic, depression and stress. Practising mindfulness can also allow you to experience compassion and acceptance, both for yourself and others, making you feel more resilient, and helping to improve your relationships, both in your personal and professional life.

Please take a look at my website for a more detailed overview on how I work and how we may be able to work together.

I am able to offer you accessible counselling, via Zoom or on the phone, in the comfortable surroundings of your own environment.

I offer an initial, free, 30 minute consultation - I welcome any questions or concerns you may want to explore.

Member organisations

BACP

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
