About me

Are you going through a difficult time in your life right now?

Are you suffering from work-related stress, the demands of partners, parents or children, depression, generalised anxiety disorder or panic attacks?  Does life feel like an uphill struggle?

Are you facing a particular crisis, loss or relationship breakup?

Are you bereaved and struggling with feelings of grief and loss?

Are you feeling anxious, depressed or overwhelmed by something that has happened in your life?

Does it feel like your life is mundane and you never really feel happy?  Do you feel like you are just ‘going through the motions’ of life with no real highs or lows and you just ‘get on with it’?  Are you wondering if this is all there is?  Are you wondering what to hope for in the future and where you want to go and who you want to be in the future?

Do you feel that situations in your past continue to affect you because of deep-rooted experiences and long-standing difficulties?

Whatever your situation, therapy can help:

·      It is a way of getting help and support in your life now

·      It is a space for you talk about the things which you never talk to anyone else about and that cause you anxiety or make you feel down and bad about yourself

·      It is a space to look at your life, the things that have happened to you and how you have been affected so that you can start to make changes

I offer a safe, confidential, caring and supportive space where together we can explore the things that concern you, help you to make sense of what is happening, find out what you want from life and work towards that.

I work in two different ways.  Firstly I am a Therapist who uses different methods depending on what you need and how you want to work.  I'm happy to work with how YOU'RE feeling and what YOU need to talk about in order to process what is going on for you.

Secondly I work using CBT/REBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy) which involves working short-term in a focussed way in order to deal with specific problems, phobia's, generalised anxiety disorders, depression, panic attacks and many other issues.

I am also currently adding to my Training and have completed a 2-Year Qualification in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy (still working towards full Qualification) and can now see Couples and anyone wanting to work on sexual issues or relationship issues.

I am a registered and accredited member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and I work within the UKCP code of ethics.

I have a Private Practice in South Woodford and I also work Online using Zoom.  I see clients for both long-term and short-term work.  Feel free to Email or Call me to discuss arranging an initial Session to talk about your needs and how we might work together.
