About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed or unable to cope? There may be many reasons that we need to talk to someone and feel heard. You may have feelings of anxiety or low self-esteem. Perhaps you are struggling with loss. Are past experiences controlling your behaviours and emotions?

Counselling can help you to explore the thoughts and feelings that are making life difficult. Through exploration, we can begin to understand. This brings self-awareness and the opportunity to make change.

I offer a safe space and time to explore your feelings and emotions. Somewhere to feel heard. With a calm and relaxed approach, as an integrative counsellor, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to adapt my approach to each individual's needs.

I offer a free initial 20-30 minute appointment. At this session, we can discuss your expectations of counselling and I can answer any questions you have. Finding a counsellor you connect with is key to a successful outcome and the first step to change. This initial session gives you the opportunity to see if you would feel comfortable working together.

Training, qualifications & experience

Qualified and experienced as a counsellor with an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic counselling. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS)

With experience of working in many areas, I also worked as a Cruse bereavement Care counsellor for many years.

I follow the NCPS code of ethics for Good Practice and I am committed to continued professional development.
