About me

Helen Chance-King.

How are you today? ........  It isn't always easy to know how we feel  and  honestly answer the question.
We can all feel the stress and strains of life and it can be difficult to manage.          Low mood  and anxiety can seem like a daily experience and this can feel challenging.

Putting a brave face on our troubles can be exhausting, but letting our true feelings show may be difficult.

A way forward may be to reach out and ask for support and help.       This may not be easy and I acknowledge the bravery it takes.        Working  together we can address your issues in positive and safe way that can lead to a change and shift in perspective.

Relationship Counselling. Healthy relationships can feel complicated .

Effective communication, conflict resolution, building trust and  maintaining Intimacy and connection are some of the things we need to have a fulfilling relationship.  I’m here to help and guide you towards  your relationship goals.

If you have any questions I offer an initial telephone or video link call.  This gives us both a chance to have a  chat and see if working together feels the way forward. There is no obligation to work together after this initial conversation.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

I am able to offer Life Coaching.

"Coaching is a form of development in which a person called a coach supports a client in achieving specific personal or professional goals, by providing training and guidance "

If you are feeling stuck or lacking direction in your personal or working life , coaching can be an opportunity to question your beliefs and explore the way forward.

A step by step program that will support you to achieve your goals, to prioritise areas of your life, to help with your motivation to see life through a different lens.

This is a different process to counselling, more goal driven. This process will help you  focus on the place you want to get to and the changes you may have to to make in order to make your goals a reality.

We work on a one to one basis, via telephone or video link.
