Heather Whyte MBACP
Templeton On The Green Business Centre
My name is Heather, and I offer person-centred counselling, working from a therapy room that I rent just outside of Glasgow city centre. I chose this modality as I believe that people have it within themselves to make positive changes to their lives, and that it can be beneficial to talk things through with someone in a safe place where you can explore things without fear of judgement.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, obtained from the University of Strathclyde. As part of my work I am actively involved with a university counselling service and research clinic, and I also have experience of working as an EAP counsellor, offering telephone counselling to clients with various different issues.
My qualifications include:
Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, University of Strathclyde
Certificate in Counselling Skills, University of Strathclyde
Graduate Diploma in Psychology (conversion), Glasgow Caledonian University
Bachelor of Science in Human Biology (Physiology), University of Glasgow
