About me

I am a registered member of the NCS with over 900 hours of client interventions. I am trained to work with the mind, body, emotions and spiritual connections of individuals. I am working towards my Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

I offer adults an in-depth, empathic, warm and authentic service that supports you to navigate the road to greater wellbeing through the exploration of trauma, life changes, sexuality/gender issues, loss, depression, anxiety, anger and all factors that have led to a feeling of disconnection of self.

I work face to face, by telephone and via the internet with open ended sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

BSc in Health and Social Care.

l5 Psychotherapy.

working towards Diploma in Hypnotherapy and energy work.

I qualified as an Integrative Counsellor in 2019 with the CPCAB and then as a psychotherapist in 2020. I use Person Centred, Gestalt, CBT and Transpersonal techniques to support the person as a whole.

Two years experience with CRUSE bereavement service.

I have over 600 client hours and over 25 years of working with vulnerable clients. I am experienced in bereavement and loss, trauma, sexuality issues, loss of purpose, substance misuse, domestic violence, gender issues, depression, anxiety and supporting clients to explore their feelings through life changes.

I am presently training in The Rewind Technique and Hypnotherapy.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
