About me

I offer adults an in-depth, empathic, warm and authentic service that supports you to navigate the difficult road to greater wellbeing through the exploration of early years trauma, life changes, sexuality/gender issues, depression, anxiety and anger to name a few, which have disconnected you from your authentic self.

I work face to face, by telephone and via the internet with open ended sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I qualified as a Counsellor in 2019 and then as a psychotherapist in 2020 after working in the Social Care sector for over 20 years. I have working experience of emotional distress, bereavement, loss of purpose, sexuality, feeling stuck, substance misuse, offenders, domestic violence, gender issues, homelessness and supporting clients through life changes.
I work with trauma that leads to the disconnection of mind, body, emotions and soul.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
