About me

I have training and awareness of a wide range of mental health needs and have worked with clients from all aspects of life. I have a toolbox of skills and strategies to support those struggling with a wide array of life challenges including; Anxiety, Depression, stress, Low self-esteem, Trauma, and anger management. As well as awareness of some of the added difficulties those in the Disabled and neurodivergent community often face. I also have experience and understanding of the roles of being a carer for a family member or loved one and the added stressors and emotions that may arise from these life experiences.

Seeking assistance through difficult periods is one of the most beneficial actions you can take for your well-being. I provide individual counselling for those aged 18 and older, and I bring experience in assisting people with neurodiversity, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Tourette's Syndrome.
As an Integrative Counsellor, my approach combines various therapeutic techniques and resources, allowing me to adapt to meet your needs. Through accessible online and telephone platforms, I strive to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to access support. The goal of therapy is; to provide the space and resources to navigate your personal journey with confidence and resilience in a safe and confidential setting. I am committed to fostering an empathetic therapeutic relationship that facilitates growth and healing. By prioritizing inclusivity and accessibility, I aim to break down barriers to mental health support.

Many individuals face significant barriers when seeking mental health support, including stigma, accessibility challenges, and a lack of understanding of services. Conventional counselling services may not adequately address your individual needs, leading to feelings of frustration and isolation. I recognize these challenges and am dedicated to providing a space where all individuals feel valued and understood.
I offer one-on-one therapy tailored to individual needs, focusing on mental health challenges, personal growth, and emotional well-being. Sessions can be conducted online or over the phone. I am dedicated to providing accessible and inclusive counselling services that address the diverse needs of all clients I work with. My approach centres on creating a safe, understanding environment, ensuring everyone feels welcomed and understood.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
