Heather Redington MA, UKCP
About me
As an experienced family therapist and adult psychotherapist, I have been able to help many people with a wide range of problems such as anxiety, depression, lack of confidence or purpose in life-and much more.
Painful losses, relationship problems with partners, colleagues or children or traumatic childhood experiences often lead people to seek help.
I see therapy as enabling people to move on from painful life experience, to become more accepting of themselves, to discover new strengths, and to find purpose and direction in their lives.
In addition to traditional 'talk' therapy, I now draw on new ways of working which do not rely on talking alone, but include the body and the energy system where distress can be both stored and released.
Although initially strange sounding, I find that my clients quickly come to appreciate the rapid relief, new energy and general progress that arise from this work.
