About me

I offer a safe and supportive space to work through a variety of challenging situations. My particular outlook is Jungian - or based on the work of Carl Gustav Jung. In practice, this means that there is an emphasis on the individual and on wholeness, and where possible, I work with dreams. However, the most important aspect of the work is the creation of a non-judgemental and compassionate listening environment where life issues can be explored.

My approach to psychotherapy is one of deep and empathetic listening. Piecing together a cohesive narrative in an environment that is compassionate and without judgement helps to navigate life's difficult situations and to find a way forward that promotes healing and growth.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified Jungian Analyst. My training organisation is the Guild of Analytical Psychologists (GAP). I am a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP).

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
