Hazel Murrell Registered Counsellor
At this current time, I am offering Face Time and Telephone Counselling Sessions.
Welcome, and thank you for taking time to read my page. I am very aware that taking the first steps to counselling can be daunting. When events in your life feel overwhelming, it's difficult to know who to turn to, and at times we may feel we need someone other than family and friends to support us through stressful and sensitive issues.
Counselling gives you space to explore the inner you and time to re-evaluate your life. I will work at your pace, where trust and empathy will be paramount in your journey. My approach to counselling is an integrative one, because we are all different with different wants and needs, and I feel a flexible approach is important.
Before qualifying as a Counsellor, I worked in Care which gave me a deep understanding of the emotional pain people suffer and with good support, how they bravely overcame their issues and went on to have more fulfilled lives.
Based in Little Sandhurst, I qualified as a Counsellor in 2004 and am a registered member of BACP and work within the ethical framework. I work with adults, couples and young people. I offer a safe place in which you can talk in confidence about any issues, including:
* Relationship difficulties
* Anger issues
* Low self esteem
* Self harm
I have worked with couples, adults and young people for 15 years, helping them feel empowered and confident which enables them to enjoy harmonious lives.
Feedback from a client:
"We couldn't have wished for a better person to be assisting us through what has been an extremely difficult time for us as a family. We can't speak highly enough of everything that Hazel has done for us."

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
