Hannah Walker BA Hons, MBACP Accred.
You may not know exactly what is wrong, but recognise things are not right either. You might be lacking a sense of purpose or belonging or feel like something is missing in your life. You may be facing a crisis, or finding aspects of your behaviour are becoming out of control. It doesn't matter what brings you, there isn't a remit because counselling is a personal process and your journey.
I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have several years experience working for Heads Together, a youth counselling organisation. I have my private practice in Cobham, Surrey where I see adults and adolescents with a range of life issues and symptoms including:
- relationship problems
- self harm
- family breakdown
- lack of confidence and self-esteem
- school/college refusal.
I am also a counsellor for PAST (Positive Autism and Support Training) and Happy Healthy Me.
How can I help?
I offer flexible therapy for teenagers and adults who are taking the brave step to seek support. I can ensure a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment to build a trusted relationship and to help you explore what might be difficult or painful for you. I'm an integrative counsellor which means I can use a wide range of approaches to suit you and your needs. This includes solution-focused techniques, cognitive-behaviour therapy and person-centred.
What can you expect?
You are welcome to email or call me to ask any questions or find out more about my work and how I can help. I offer an introductory session for you to see how you feel about working with me and to assess what brings you, without obligation. If you decide to return, we can discuss what you would like from therapy, your aims and needs, then together agree an initial number of sessions. This can be regularly reviewed. I am happy to discuss concessionary fees, please enquire.
