About me

Welcome, I’m Hannah and I’m a qualified HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with 10 years of experience working in both NHS and private health care. My main passion is to help individuals on their journey to improved mental health and quality of life.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals of all ages who have difficulties such as low self-worth, anxiety, panic, low mood, depression, anger, grief, experiences of trauma (PTSD and complex PTSD i.e. repeated traumas), relationship difficulties, self-harm and personality disorder.

I offer a compassionate, safe, transparent and understanding approach. I work in an integrative way, using a variety of evidenced based therapeutic models including but not limited to: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema informed Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour informed Therapy and trauma approaches.

I will work collaboratively with you to help you set achievable goals, support you to understand and make sense of your difficulties and will devise a treatment plan that best suits your needs and difficulties. I will support you to identify and understand unhelpful coping mechanisms and/or relational patterns which will allow you to make healthier choices and achieve improved functioning. I also aim to support you to develop confidence and healthy coping skills to move forward. I offer my clients information sheets on the work that we complete together.

I know it can feel quite overwhelming reaching out for support, particularly if it’s your first time engaging with a therapist. Please do not hesitate to get in touch or ask any questions that you may have, I’m happy to answer any queries. I aim to respond to enquiries within 24 hrs. Please check your junk/spam box if you have not heard from me as emails can unfortunately make their way into those areas.  I look forward to hearing from you.
