About me
Hello! My name is Hannah, and I’m a Person-Centred Psychotherapist. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’ve ever felt misunderstood, uncomfortable in traditional settings, or unsure how to express yourself. That’s why I’m dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and accommodating space where you can feel accepted and valued exactly as you are.
Therapy to suit you
I have a person-centred ethos, which forms the foundation of my practice. This approach places you as the client at the heart of the process, allowing our sessions to be guided by your needs and move at a pace that feels right for you. I am dedicated to creating a space where you feel empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions without pressure or judgment.
While my person-centred ethos underpins my work, I understand that a single approach may not suit everyone. I believe that therapy should reflect the individuality of each person, which is why I adopt a flexible approach. By drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques and models, I ensure that our work together is tailored to your unique preferences and circumstances. My practice is rooted in adaptability, allowing sessions to be as fluid and responsive as needed.
Specialist Areas
Neurodivergence
I understand how challenging it can be to navigate a world often designed with neurotypical experiences in mind. For neurodivergent individuals, this can lead to feelings of isolation, frustration, and being misunderstood, which may contribute to struggles with anxiety, depression, or self-esteem. In my practice, I provide a space where these experiences can be openly explored without judgment. I aim to offer understanding, acceptance, and empathy, allowing you to process the challenges you face and connect with your true sense of self in a way that feels authentic and affirming.
Trauma
Trauma profoundly influences how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. It can shape our responses to challenges, relationships, and even our sense of safety and identity. Importantly, trauma is not solely defined by the event itself but by how it is experienced and processed by each individual. I specialise in working with those who have experienced trauma, offering a compassionate and supportive space to explore its effects at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we can gently untangle the ways trauma has impacted your life, creating room for growth. My approach centres on helping you reconnect with your inner resilience, cultivate self-compassion, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself, empowering you to move forward in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who you are.
Training, qualifications & experience
I’m a qualified Psychotherapist with a Master’s in Person-Centred Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of Nottingham, BSc in Psychology and have worked with a wide range of clients, including adults, teenagers, and young people. I am also an accredited registrant of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), ensuring that my practice is aligned with the highest professional standards.
I am experienced in working both privately and within community settings with adults, young people and teenagers offering support as they navigate a wide range of challenges.

Further information
Accessibility and adaptability are central to my approach, ensuring that therapy feels not only supportive but also a place where you can truly be yourself. Whether face-to-face, online, or over the phone, I tailor therapy to suit your unique needs and preferences.
I offer a free 15 minute consultation so we can have a chat, get to know each other, and talk about what’s been going on for you and what you're hoping to get from therapy. I believe this is a great way for us to see if we’d be a good fit together and to help you feel more comfortable with the process.
