About me

I provide a range of evidence-based therapies in Newton Mearns, through my private practice Dr. Hannah Jeffray, for adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

I am a Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I offer a friendly, open approach to my therapeutic work. I truly believe that at the heart of therapy should be the client’s needs. Their preferences should always be carefully considered. I believe that each individual is exactly that, individual, therefore I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each individual client, designing the therapy to suit each client’s uniqueness. I really believe these components are vital to achieve the best results in therapy

My practice is inclusive and I value difference and diversity. In order to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual, I use a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Person-Centred Therapy (PCT).

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy. I have experience working with adults (age 16+) with a wide range of psychological difficulties, such as anxiety related difficulties, depression/low mood, low self-esteem, work/academic related stress, trauma/PTSD, bereavement and loss, difficulties adapting to health or life conditions, relationship issues and sleep difficulties. I have experience of working within the NHS and voluntary organisations. I have a particular interest in working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.
