About me

Accessing therapy may feel like a big step and choosing a therapist can be overwhelming, this is why I offer a free initial consultation. This provides you an opportunity to get a feel of a session as well as to discuss your needs for therapy, and how we can work together to meet these needs.

Whether due to current or past experiences, life can at times feel challenging. It is during this time you may need a resting place from your internal conflicts as well as the stress of everyday life. Therapy not only provides you with a space to take a breather from these difficulties but also a safe space to express your feelings as well as an opportunity for in-depth exploration and self reflection, leading to long lasting change.

‘Most human suffering is related to love and loss. The job of therapists is to help people acknowledge, experience and bear the reality of life, with all its pleasures and heartbreaks.'

Training, qualifications & experience

I have experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds including age, religions and cultures. My areas of interest and experience include anxiety, addiction, eating disorders, mood disorders, dissociative disorders, relationship issues and domestic violence. I also have experience and passion in working with refugees and migrants. I understand the long lasting and at times unidentified impact and loss that migration may have on individuals and families.

The way you are feeling is important as they can impact your quality of life but what underlies them is even more important. My experience in the field allows me to work with you to understand the reasons behind your feelings and work together understanding them, giving you control of your life.
