Halina Sladeczek Dip.Couns.MBACP
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have particular experience in areas of:
- Addictions- alcohol, drugs, gambling, food,
- Trauma, PTSD,
- Personality Disorders,
- Anxiety and Panic Attacks,
- Relationship issues,
- Stress, work related issues,
I practice as an integrative counsellor, which means that I draw upon a variety of different therapeutic techniques and concepts. The way of working depends on each individual client and what they would like to get out of their therapy.
I offer a confidential, safe and trustworthy space where we can talk and make sense of your current struggles.
Through development of a therapeutic alliance and accepting relationship we could, together, explore your past formative experiences which may be impacting on your present day decisions and choices you make. We can explore your concerns and the ways that you form and maintain relationships with others.
Each session is 50 minutes long. There is no limit to how many sessions you can have. After an initial assessment and depending on the presenting issue, we agree a therapeutic contract in which we may decide upon a short term, limited number of sessions, or longer term and open-ended work.
My practice is set in comfortable and secure rooms in Watford Town Centre and Hayes with easy accessible entrance.
