About me

  • Is anxiety affecting how you feel about yourself, making you feel like you’re in a trap with limited options?
  • We can work together to get you closer to who you want to be, break down those barriers and open up choices for you in life.

I have worked successfully with many people on the challenges of anxiety, helping them to find the answers they’ve been looking for.

You will be able to talk about experiences, make sense of them, and come to terms with them. Counselling can help you to develop as a person with fresh understanding.

I’ve been working as a counsellor since 2008. I’m a real person with experience outside of counselling. I've worked in a range of settings with vulnerable people. I’m supported by a supervisor who ensures that my work with you as a your counsellor is safe and ethical.

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling in 2009. I trained in the person-centred approach. I continue to learn about current approaches to therapy from different perspectives.

I am a qualified professional with training, skills and insurance. I’m an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (NCS22-00867), but my approach is not too formal. Being a counsellor includes having a sense of humour. While we look at whatever it is that’s causing you to look for help, we won’t be afraid to also look at the lighter side of things.
