About me
Sometimes we can lose our way in life and we start to wonder what it’s all about. I believe that we all have an ’emerging purpose’ even if we are not aware of it. Counselling is a way of tuning into our purpose by working through the blocks and resistances that show up in our lives in the form of addictions, limiting behaviours or even depression. Talking in a safe and confidential space can help us find perspective and clarity, enabling us to step away from anxiety and fully into our own lives.
Probably the most important thing is that you meet with someone who you can get on with and trust. This page will hopefully give you some sense of me as a person, as well as information about my training and approach.
I work in Brighton and online offering weekly sessions.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

What clients have said about working with Greg
“I felt terribly isolated and despairing that I could sustain my caring role when I started counselling. My counsellor provided a safe space and a strong supportive presence in which to explore my difficulties and I have emerged feeling so much stronger, confident and capable, especially regarding managing change..
My counsellor was an exceptionally gifted listener and very empathic. This meant I could be very open and truthful with him and this has been a powerfully transforming experience for me which I have internalised and will carry with me."
