The first step in seeking support from Grays Therapy is to book an informal conversation with us. This can be carried out over the telephone or via email if you’d prefer. This involves a brief discussion about your concerns and what support you might be looking for. This helps us to to establish if our service is the most appropriate and helpful one for your needs. The informal conversation is free of charge.
If after our informal conversation we both feel that our service can help, we will arrange to meet for a face-to-face initial assessment. In this assessment we can talk a bit more about the things that have led to you seeking therapy. We will also take into consideration historical information, any significant life events and your goals for therapy. The assessment appointment will last one hour and costs £60. Towards the end of this session, we will discuss potential options for therapy. If we do agree to work together we can plan the number of therapy sessions, which will be reviewed regularly with you.
Psychotherapy sessions last for one hour and cost £60. Fees can be paid on a sessional basis or you can pay in advance for a course of therapy, depending on your preference.
Payment is required in advance to secure your appointment.
