Graham Brown - Dip.Couns. MNCS (Accred)
I am the founder of Lincoln Counselling Centre which offers counselling for everyone and is staffed by qualified and experienced counsellors.
The Men Matter counselling service has been created to provide a much needed place for men to come to with their specific mental health issues and is based at Lincoln Counselling Centre on Lincoln's High Street.
Life can often be difficult at times, we all go through situations that are tough for us to process, such as:
- Sexual identity
- Sexual Abuse
- Suicidle Thoughts
- Domestic Abuse
- Mens issues
- Work Related Stress.
Sometimes we find it more difficult to cope and if things from our past are affecting our daily lives it can be hard to know where to turn.
Counselling is about forming a relationship, it is about building trust so that you can speak freely and start to find solutions to these situations. Counselling is not about giving you answers, it’s about helping you find them. The only person who can change you, is you.
Lincoln Counselling Centre is a comfortable, welcoming counselling centre that is open to all, offering fully qualified counsellors who can can help with a wide range of counselling services in full confidence.

Men Matter are a men's counselling service based at Lincoln Counselling Centre in Lincoln High Street. Men have always been reluctant to ask for help or to make use of counselling services and we hope to help change that.
It is OK for men to find life difficult, no more 'man up' or big boys don't cry, men have emotions and fears and they have a right to express feelings without being judged.
But men find this difficult and we hope to help change attitudes and by doing so save lives, far to many men end up suiciding because they feel it is not manly to admit that they are struggling with life or that they have mental health issues and we hope we can help.
We have experienced counselling professionals who are here to listen, we do not judge. Whether it’s your career, your relationships, or anything else that’s important to you, we will help you develop the habits and skills to effectively deal with the challenges and emotional moments you may encounter in life.
