Grace .O.Ovba Adebiyi
I am a qualified integrative counsellor in Hackney, London. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Therapy to me is a collaborative process whereby l offer confidential, supportive, empathetic and kindly challenging safe space for my clients to talk about their feelings, emotions, behaviour and patterns of relating. We work through issues affecting their lives. My role is helping and supporting my clients to gain greater awareness and self-acceptance enabling them to discover new ways of moving forward, thereby making positive changes in their lives.
l tailor my approach to suit the needs of my clients using a range of techniques such as Person-Centred Approach: My clients are allowed to talk openly and freely about what is going on and constituting an issue for them.
In addition to this l use the Psychodynamic/relational approach, holistic approach and mindfulness just to mention a few.
Furthermore, I conduct group sessions for people who have gone through Domestic Violence / Abuse. There are anger management sessions for perpetrators as well.
