About me

Do you sometimes feel low, scared and like things are out of your control? Perhaps something has happened in your life that doesn’t make sense or it feels like it’s too late or too frightening to make a change? In reading this, you have taken a positive step toward finding some answers.  If you make an initial appointment with me, together we can work out how to shape your life into something better than you are experiencing at the moment.

I offer a warm, non- judgmental and calm approach to help individuals identify their own strengths, and to empower them to make the right choice in the here and now.  Using a non-judgmental atmosphere together with my client we explore any issues the clients bring. It is important for me to help my client better understated who they really are and give them an opportunity to make their own choices, because when “our beliefs change our behaviour follows”.

I believe that therapy is more effective when the client and therapist set goals together.  I try to help the client recognise that we all have the potential to live the life we want rather than the life we have been taught to live. It is essential for me to accept the client entirely and this can only be achieved by using empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard.

What happens next?

To take the next step you can email me at- Gosia.zak@mail.com or call me on 07932934606 and I will try to answer to your query.

After that we can book an initial assessment which lasts 50 minutes. During the initial assessment we will look at the issues that have brought you to counselling. This also will be a chance for you to decide if you are happy to work with me.
