My role is to assist your growth, development and change for you to reach a sense of well-being. Furthermore, it is to enhance your full potential intellectually, emotionally and mindfully in relationships, parenthood, friendships, work etc. in expressing life in a positive way of living. I will help you explore your feelings and thoughts in order for you to gain insight and to promote your self-awareness and support you towards accuracy, clarity and understanding.
I offer a warm, non- judgmental and calm approach to help individuals identify their own strengths, and to empower them to make the right choice in the here and now. Using a non-judgmental atmosphere together with my client we explore any issues the clients bring. It is important for me to help my client better understated who they really are and give them an opportunity to make their own choices, because when “our beliefs change our behaviour follows”.
I believe that therapy is more effective when the client and therapist set goals together. I try to help the client recognise that we all have the potential to live the life we want rather than the life we have been taught to live. It is essential for me to accept the client entirely and this can only be achieved by using empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard.

After that we can book an initial assessment which lasts 50 minutes. During the initial assessment we will look at the issues that have brought you to counselling. This also will be a chance for you to decide if you are happy to work with me. This is a very important step and it’s okay to say that you don’t wish to work with me. If you decide to continue we will set a time for your weekly regular sessions at a mutually convenient time.

I completed Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling at CPPD Counselling School (British Association of Counsellor and Therapists accredited) and a degree in Psychology and Counselling Skills BSc at Middlesex University (British Psychology Society accredited).

I have variety of experience in psychotherapy and mental health. I have been working in NHS and Charities in different areas including forensic mental health, rehab, addiction, personality disorder, domestic violence and learning difficulties and currently practicing privately.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy depends on a client's needs and concerns and this is discussed at the initial session.
