Gordon Dever MBACP (Accred)
Hi. I'm Gordon Dever
I am a registered BACP accredited counsellor. I assist individuals and couples with their mental wellbeing. My focus involves depression, general anxiety disorder (GAD) and stress as well as the specific issues experienced by men, transgender people and women.
Our initial assessment session will allow you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what's troubling you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may assist you.
Counselling centres on listening and supporting you when you decide what matter regarding your childhood or adult life you discuss. Through talking about your problems we will look at deciding what is the correct therapy to suit your needs and the issues you experience.
The integrative therapy that I offer considers both your personal experience and possible options aiming to help you advance your self-understanding.
I abide by and adhere to the ethical framework for the counselling professions of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
