Gloria Gavrilovic, Counselling in Headingley, weekend appointments available
I’m Gloria, a fully qualified Counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within their ethical framework.
I provide confidential counselling in Headingley. My approach is person-centred and humanistic, as I put the client at the centre of the therapeutic relationship and work towards creating a safe environment where you feel understood and accepted.
Whatever reason brings you to counselling, I offer a supportive & nurturing space, in which you can safely explore your thoughts and feelings. I work alongside you and your pace so that we can explore the issues you are facing together.
Counselling is a deeply personal process and during the initial session, we can assess what you would like to gain from this journey.
I offer short-term as well as open-ended therapy. How long we might work together will depend on your needs.

What happens when you contact me?
I offer a short initial telephone assessment, to check whether counselling with me will meet your needs. This is free of charge and will give us a chance to get to know each other a little and I welcome any questions you might have.
What happens in the first session?
Our first meeting will give you a chance to explore why you feel therapy might be right for you and what brings you to counselling.
We would also go through a counselling agreement containing a list of items that are important for creating a safe, confidential and welcoming space.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information.
