Giuseppina (Jess) Fitt MBACP (Registered)
Hi, I'm Jess, a qualified person-centred counsellor. This means I do not give you advice or tell you what to do, but I will work with you to help you identify and achieve that which you wish for yourself and your life. Taking the decision to receive counselling can be daunting, but once it is made the experience can be very rewarding, and even life-changing.
How can counselling help?
Is life a struggle? Are you faced with many challenges? Are you feeling lonely, isolated or lacking in confidence? You may be overwhelmed by worries and anxieties, or feeling sad, upset, angry. Your relationships may be suffering – it’s hard to understand yourself and others. Who am I? What do I want? What do I need? What’s the point? You may have lost your ‘true self,’ or perhaps you have never known it…
Listen, support, empower...
Counselling can help you to explore all these emotions and questions, or any other concerns you may have, in a comfortable, safe, non-judgemental and confidential space. Taking the time to share and talk about your struggles can help you to feel less burdened and isolated. It can also help you to gain an understanding and clarity about any behaviours and emotions that have confused you. In time, counselling can help you to make sense and reconcile the causes of your struggle in a way that acknowledges the individuality of your own circumstances and experience.
