I am a fully qualified counsellor and have spent the past 15 years working with clients aged between 6-80 on a wide range of issues, including domestic abuse, stress and anxiety, self harm, eating disorders, bereavement and relationship issues.
I work from a person centred theory base using interventions from other theory bases as appropriate. I work individually with every client acknowledging that everyone is unique. I do not tell clients what to do but work with them to explore options and the consequences of these. I offer a warm, professional, friendly, confidential and non-judgemental service which I believe enables clients to explore issues and situations which are affecting their lives, and to make changes that will help them to improve their emotional health.
