Gillian Edwards . Dip Counselling.BACP registered.
Hi I am Gill and i am a fully qualified psychotherapist with a diploma in counselling.
I offer a calm, at ease, environment for the individual to feel accepted in our working relationship.
As we move through life we have issues that may need dealing with on a one to one basis. When someone seeks this support it is a huge step forward.I offer a space for the individual to feel free to be open on any subject they are worried about. Therapy should be a positive, freeing, process of healing, change and growth. It can allow the individual to see how there life could be with some gentle changes of direction.I care deeply about my work, and it is so encouraging when you see a client move forwards in a new and positive direction.
My private practice includes referrals for employment assisted programmes and self referrals.
I also work as a Cruse bereavement volunteer.
I have ongoing supervision and CPD courses.

Transactional Analysis is a model of counselling which looks at how we are as humans in our lives, relationships, and communication with others. It is a solid framework to work with, along side some other theories, cognitive behaviour therapy, and person centred therapy.
Through these theories people can gain understanding of life's restrictions and hurts.
