I provide a safe and confidential space in which to talk and explore those difficulties which we all experience in life from time to time and which can threaten to overwhelm us. I work in a warm, empathic and non-judgemental way. My aim is to help clients to find inner strength, to help them to discover or restore lost coping resources. They can then establish equilibrium and develop a sense of well being enabling them to move forward in a positive way.
I am committed to delivering a high quality service to my clients and I continue to update my knowledge by regular professional training and educational seminars. I read widely to keep up with recent developments and to incorporate new ways of thinking into my practice.
I have a comfortable counselling room with easy access and parking available. I am also on a local bus route which stops nearby.
