About me

I am a integrative counsellor, this means I draw from many different therapeutic approaches dependant on which best suit my clients needs, I also have over 20 years experience helping addicts and their family's overcome active addiction and enter into a better of living.

My focus when counselling is to provide a safe and non-judgemental confidential space for individuals to explore and overcome whatever is troubling them. I work with understanding, empathy and respect ensuring the highest standards of client care is achieved.

I understand the importance of the therapeutic relationship and believe trust is paramount. All information disclosed is treated with absolute confidentially. integrity and working within the BACP ethical framework enabling you to feel safe. this is always placed at the heart of what I do.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Diploma in therapeutic counselling. 
  • Higher education  level 1. 2.3.4 Dip.CPCAB integrative counselling.
  • Over 20 years of experience working  with addictions.
  • CPD . Gestalt working with Trauma

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I work from comfortable room in Bickley, free parking available. Understanding that face to face sessions are not possible for everyone I am able to provide virtual sessions via Zoom or telephone to keep you in touch and ground within the therapeutic process. I am able to assess clients and arrange detoxification in residential or community rehabilitation, offering pre and post rehabilitation support for those who choose this route.
