Gee Whitlock MBACP (Reg)
I am an integrative counsellor offering one to one counselling in a supportive, safe and confidential space. I work in a person centred way, directed by what you’d like to bring to each session, and draw on different counselling approaches to suit your individual needs. I offer both short term and long term work to adults.
When things are difficult counselling can help you to find a way forwards, to feel better equipped to cope and to enable change and choice in the way that you want to.
Noticing patterns of behaviour, reflecting on your thoughts and exploring your experiences can provide clarity and better understanding of yourself.
My aim is that through a trusting therapeutic relationship, I can offer you time, space, compassion and insight and my hope is that you can feel self-empowered, stronger and more certain in your decisions.
I work at your pace and draw on different theories (Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt) in a way for you to gain better understanding of yourself, in a non-judgemental and secure environment. I have a calm and reflective approach, am honest yet gentle in my delivery and use my integrity to provide transparency and perspective.
I offer counselling at a therapy room in central Thame.
