Georgina Tasker-Simm Integrative Psychotherapist MBACP, NCFE, CPCAB
People seek my help when they have a disordered relationship with food and eating. Typically this can look like overeating, binge eating, comfort eating, bulimia or anorexia.
However, the deeper-seated issues that are generally hidden by the eating disorder, but that begin to emerge inside the therapy, can range from chronic anxiety and depression, childhood abuse, repressed anger, low self-esteem, loss, loneliness, relationship difficulties and many more.
I see women who may or may not have a diagnosed eating disorder; many have been struggling with their weight and battling with food and diets their entire adult lives; most beginning in childhood or adolescence.
I am a fully qualified (DIP PSYCH, NCFE, CPCAB) integrative and transpersonal psychotherapist and am registered member with the MBACP (Individual Member). I offer a full-spectrum, holistic and transpersonal approach.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation prior to the initial session.
